Alas I have (reluctantly) returned from my 3 week vacation up in the Paciffic Northwest. Sometimes its good to get word that I need to take almost a month off in order to get paid for my summer's work. Hoo Rah! This was taken somewhere in Idaho, sometime after 2AM. It was just some random truck stop. I was pretty blown away by the clarity of the Milky Way even though I was in a brightly lit parking lot by a highway. Side note, just bought a 5D Mark ii (FINALLY!!!), and had it shipped out to meet me in Oregon. Was a little bummed I didn't have it for this night sesh, but it all seemed to work out okay with the good ol 7D. Now its time to be a real Flickr-iter again! |
