Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Ammanford railway station, Carmarthenshire

Opened in 1841 as 'Duffryn' by the 'Llanelly Railway' on the line from Llanelli to Llandeilo, this station changed its name to Tirydail in 1889 and only referenced 'Ammanford' in 1960 after the original Ammanford station on the Brynamman West branch, had closed.
