THE Chickering Piano is the result of skill, inspired by a keen appreciationof the artistic and a desire to live up to an enviable reputation, directedby the latest scientific knowledge, and practical experience gained by80 years of piano building. <j The resulting excellence, both as to tone, touch andgeneral staying power, is the reason, and the only reason for the uniformlyhigh favor in which it is held in exclusive musical circles. Another ConvincingInstance of the Durabilityof Old-Time Hand-Dipped Tin THESE are the Stockton Surf Baths at Cape May, N. J., which, as thepicture shows, are roofed throughout with tin. Being right on the ocean, the roofs are continually exposed to the salt air and spray from the sea. Duringthe summer months bathing suits are hung above them to dry, the salt waterfrom the suits dripping directly upon the tin. The tin on these roofs was laid 27 years ago, and, notwithstanding theunusually severe conditions of exposure, is still in perfect condition. The tinis painted every three or four years. Outside of this the tin has required noattention or repairs whatever. The Stockton Hotel, shown in the background, also has a roof of this sameold-time, heavy-coated tin which has been giving service for over 20 years. Prospective builders, and owners of buildings with unsatisfactory, trouble-giving roofs should know that we offer to-day, in our Target-and-Arrow Old Style brand, tins same old-time
