Deutsch: Am Freitag, den 30. Mai 1980 verkehrte zum letzten Mal ein Personenzug auf dem Streckenabschnitt Jülich - Ameln - Hochneukirch. Drei Tage zuvor wurde dieser Zug beim Verlassen des Bahnhofs Ameln fotografiert, wo die örtliche Zuckerfabrik für erhebliches Güterverkehrsaufkommen sorgte und bis 1966 die Strecke nach Bedburg abzweigte. Es handelt sich um den Akkutriebwagen 515 514 mit Beiwagen 815 736 als Zug Nt 8389, einer von fünf Zügen pro Werktag und Richtung, die im letzten Betriebsjahr zwischen Jülich und Mönchengladbach verkehrten. Als einziger dieser Züge verkehrte Nt 8389 über Mönchengladbach hinaus weiter bis nach Neuss (bis Mai 1979 sogar nach Düsseldorf). Planmäßig bestand Nt 8389 aus zwei Motorwagen und einem Beiwagen, wovon ein Motorwagen in Mönchengladbach abgekuppelt wurde, was dort zu einem relativ langen Aufenthalt führte. Drei Tage vor Fahrplanwechsel verkehrte der Zug jedoch schon ab Jülich mit nur einem Motorwagen. Der Fahrplan des Zuges: Jülich 15.51 - Ameln 16.05 - Mönchengladbach an 16.38 / ab 16.55 - Neuss an 17.14 Uhr. |
