Summary[edit]
DescriptionAmanita morrisii Peck 671330 crop.jpg |
Amanita morrisii Peck Image location: Brendan T. Byrne State Forest, Burlington Co., New Jersey, USA Collected by an unknown party at the NJMA foray in the Pakim Pond section of BBSF. The broken off base was also brought in together with a clump of rich humus it was growing in, but not photographed. It was not shaped like that of A. brunnescens. The attachment/position of PV also eliminates A. submaculata. The pinkish-orange underside of PV also suggests A. morrisii. This collection was preserved. Recognized by sight
