Description
Español: Pastizal con yeguas, matorral y hayedos en la cabecera del Río de las Mestas. Aller (Asturias, España) Las laderas de solana se talaron para conseguir pastos, quedando el arbolado solo en la umbría. Hoy día las laderas se han abandonado cubriéndose de matorral; los pastizales solo se conservan en las partes más bajas y llanas
English: Pasture with horses, bush and beech forest at Las Mestas river headwaters. Aller, Asturias, Spain The sunny slopes were cut down to get pastures, leaving the woodland only in the shady side. Nowadays, the slopes have been abandoned and covered with scrub; the grasslands are only preserved in the lowest and flattest parts
