Description
English: U.S. Marines of Battalion Landing Team 3/6, 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (Special Operations Capable), discovered a series of tunnels near Kandahar, Afghanistan, after intruders were seen in the vicinity of the adobe structures above the tunnels. The structures were later destroyed and the tunnels collapsed by the BLT 3/6 combat engineers. Shown above is the opening to the first tunnel. Photo by Lance Cpl. Nathan E. Eason, USMC
