Description

New Orleans after the Hurricane Katrina disaster: A dead body in a school parking area. Algiers multi-purpose building parking area. Notice the shoes are missing.

Note: In many parts of the disaster area there was no organized assistance to remove bodies for weeks, and some were simply covered up in a makeshift fashion by survivors.
