Description
English: Photograph of Lieutenant Alexander Brown Grindlay, Distinguished Conduct Medal (DCM) in uniform during WWI, then 2nd Lt. Served in the Royal Army Medical Corps (RAMC) and Royal Scots, 11th Battalion. Died 24 March 1917 aged 24. Buried at St Pol War Cemetery in Pas de Calais, France. Son of Charles and Mary Grindlay of 'Elim', Errol, Perthshire, Scotland.
