Nederlands: Op 7 December j.l. werd de residentie-hoofdplaats Sibolga (midden-Sumatra) overgedragen aan de Republiek. De overdracht vond plaats in de officiersmess 's morgens om 7 uur. De eigenlijke overdracht werd geopend door de Lt. Kol. Harvey, de voorzitter van de Locale Gemengde Commissie, die het rapport van overdracht voorleest. Van l. naar r. : De Republikeinse Resident Dr. T.L. Tobing, Lt. Kol. Kawilarang, cdt. der TNI te Tapanuli, Lt. Kol. Harvey (UNCI), Sgdr. Ldr. Addison (UNCI) English: On 7 December, the capital Sibolga (Central Sumatra) was transferred to the Republic. The transfer took place in the officer's mess at 7:00 am.
