Description
Español: Escultura alegórica del "Camino de la Lengua Castellana" en Alcalá de Henares (Comunidad de Madrid - España). Inaugurada el 7 de octubre de 2009 en la Plaza de San Diego de Alcalá de Henares, y reubicada el 19 de octubre de 2018 en el jardín de la Casa de los Lizana (antiguo Colegio de los Sevillanos de la Universidad de Alcalá). Fundida en bronce, con forma de atril del que arranca una pluma y un pergamino. En conjunto mide tres metros de altura por 0,95 m. de anchura. A ambos lados figura la leyenda "CAMINO DE LA LENGUA CASTELLANA", mientras en el frente aparece el logotipo de la Fundación Camino de la Lengua Castellana y un mapa estilizado representando a las seis poblaciones que integran este organismo. El "Camino de la Lengua Castellana" es una ruta cultural, creada en 2006, que recorre los municipios de San Millán de la Cogolla, Santo Domingo de Silos, Valladolid, Salamanca, Ávila y Alcalá de Henares. Esta ruta cuenta con el reconocimiento de “Itinerario Cultural del Consejo de Europa”, por lo que incluye también el logotipo del Consejo de Europa.
