| Description |
English: Albion Street, Hull Photo taken looking across Albion Street towards No. 17 on the corner of Percy Street. Pevsner says "..What remains is a fine range on the N. side (Nos. 17-30) built in 1794-6. Although the effect is that of a unified terrace the houses were built by more than one developer and there are noticeable differences. Some are of two bays, others of three. They are all three storeys and basement and the doorcases have Doric columns, pediments and fanlights. No. 17 has an Ionic doorcase of c.1820 to Percy Street.." |
