Summary

[edit]
Description
English: In the early 14th century, Ala-ud-din Khilji carried out the extension work of the southern gateway of Quwaat-ul-Islam mosque. Made of red sandstone, Alauddin Gate has ornate geometric patterns and calligraphic embellishments carved into white marble. The colors in this card are not real, but artifacts of the postcard printer's art.
