Description

Core-formed, large dark blue (cobalt) glass alabastron decorated with a vertically combed feather pattern in alternating opaque white, yellow and turquoise. The wide, flat lip has a thread of yellow around its edge. Two small scroll handles are attached on opposite sides of the upper body. Half of the rim had been replaced with a modern synthetic material.
