العربية: يقع فنار الإسكندرية القديم، أو كما كان يطلق عليه “منارة الاسكندرية” بمنطقة المكس غربي محافظة الإسكندرية، ويربط بين الحد الشرقي والغربي لسور فنار المكس القديم، الذي يعد من عجائب الدنيا السبع،
وتم إُنشاؤه عام 280 ق. م في عصر “بطليموس الثاني” وقام ببنائه المعماري الإغريقي “سوستراتوس” وكان يبلغ طوله مائةً وعشرين مترا، بينما يصل ارتفاعه إلى حوالي 230 ذراع
