Description
Nederlands: Akte van remis, door de hertog van Parma vanwege de koning van Spanje verleend aan de Ommelander 'knape' Herman (Harmen) Sickinga (Sickinghe), met de daarop door deze afgelegde eed van trouw aan de koning, 26 juni en 13 september 1584. Afschrift 1/5.

Herman Sickinga was oud-gedeputeerde der Ommelanden en werd als zodanig als vijand van de stad beschouwd. Later, in 1587, werkte hij als 'verordenter der Ommelanden' met de stad mee. Het afschrift is niet gedateerd, maar heeft een dorsaal van Johannes Julsing. 'Remis': (hier) kwijtschelding en amnestie.
