English: Aircraft of the Royal Air Force, 1939-1945- De Havilland Dh.98 Mosquito. Mosquito NF Mark XII, HK 129, on the ground, probably at Cambridge. One of 95 aircraft originally begun as F Mark IIs at the De Havilland's plant at Leavesden, Hertfordshire, which were converted to Mark XII configuration by installing AI Mark VIII radar in the nose. HK129 served with Nos. 29 and 302 Squadrons RAF, and latterly with No. 51 Operational Training Unit until 1945. |
