Summary[edit]

Description

The F2G Super Corsair does a high speed fly-by before it departs for home. The F2G was a derivative of the Corsair, built by Goodyear corporation around the enormous R-4360 radial engine. It had a staggering 28 cylinders and produced 3000 horsepower. Only 10 were ever built.

One cool thing about this particular aircraft is the paint job include one white propellor blade, which makes it very easy to see the spinning prop. This plane is also equipped with an airshow smoke system.

From this vantage point, the shape of this airplane should look familiar. The Super Corsair uses the same gull wing design that the original Corsair used.
