Deutsch: Vorderseite: ΑVΤ ΚΑΙ ΜΑΡ IΟVΛ ΦΙΛΙΠΠΟC CΕΒ. Drapierte Panzerbüste des Philippus Arabs mit Strahlenkrone in der Rückenansicht nach r.

Rückseite: ΑΙΓΕΑΙWΝ ΝΕ-WΚΟΡΟV ΝΑV [sic!]. Dionysos steht nach l. Die r. Hand stützt er auf den mit Bändern geschmückten Stab (thyrsos). In der r. Hand hält er ein Gefäß (kantharos) über einen vor ihm sitzenden Panther. Beiderseits die Jahresangabe ϙ-C (= Jahr 290).

Kommentar: Inschriften bezeugen, dass Dionysos in Aigeai als 'Kallikarpos' ('reich an schönen Früchten') gemeinsam mit der 'fruchtragenden' Demeter Karpophoros/Karpotrophos ('Fruchtbringerin', 'Erntebringerin') einen Kult besaß. Vermutlich wird damit auf die renommierte Weinproduktion Aigais angespielt. Vgl. Haymann (2014) 179.
