Deutsch: Vorderseite: AVT KA[I M] ΚΛ[...] - ΠOYΠHNIOC CEB [sic!]. Drapierte Panzerbüste des Pupienus mit Lorbeerkranz in der Rückenansicht nach r.

Rückseite: [CΕ ΑΔ]ΡI ΑΙΓΕ-ΑΙ-[W]Ν ΝΕW ΝΑ. Artemis steht in der Vorderansicht, den Kopf nach r. Sie hält in ihrer l. Hand einen Bogen, und greift mit der r. Hand zum Köcher. Hinter ihr ein Hirsch. Beiderseits Δ-ΠC (= Jahr 284).

Kommentar: Aus einer Ehrenschrift ist ein Kult für die 'Aigaia Artemis' bezeugt. Ihr Kultbild war vermutlich mit einem Hirschen verbunden und könnte ähnlich dem vorliegenden Rückseitenmotiv gestaltet gewesen sein [Haymann (2014) 178]. Da Pupienus im April 238 an die Macht gelangte und im Juli desselben Jahres getötet wurde, lässt sich die Datierung der vorliegenden Prägung auf diesen Zeitraum eingrenzen.
