Description
English: Age-metallicity relation of the Galaxy. Different stellar populations are shown. Filled areas, in order of increasing age: thin disc field stars, thick disc field stars and halo field stars. Frames in the same order: thin disc open clusters, bulge (red frame), thick disc globular clusters (green frame), young halo globular clusters and old halo globular clusters.
Русский: Связь возраста и металличности для нашей Галактики. Отмечены различные звёздные населения. Закрашенные области в порядке увеличения возраста соответствуют звёздам поля в тонком диске, толстом диске и в гало. Рамки в порядке увеличения соответствуют рассеянным скоплениям тонкого диска, населению балджа (красная рамка), шаровым скоплениям толстого диска (зелёная рамка), более молодым шаровым скоплениям гало и более старым.
