Summary[edit]

Description
English: simple world map in orthogonal projection, centered on 60 E 35 N (so as to fit all of Afro-Eurasia),

with five layers based on elevation ("bedrock" dataset, i.e. Greenland shown as if ice-free):

1. shallow water, -130m to 0m: -130m was selected because this was the coastline during the LGM (see early Holocene sea level rise, File:Post-Glacial Sea Level.png)
2. lowlands, 0m to 250m
3. hills, 250m to 1000m
4. mountains, 1000m to 2500m
5. high mountains, above 2500m
In addition, there is a layer for the coordinate grid, and a layer showing major rivers. The rivers are taken from the dataset native to GMT and they aren't very exact.
