| Description |
English: Aerial view of Two-Tree Island, eastern half The eastern half of Two-Tree Island is a National Nature Reserve, but is managed by the Essex Wildlife Trust http://www.essexwt.org.uk/visitor_centres__nature_reserves/two_tree_island/. Much of the reserve comprises an old rubbish tip which has been capped and seeded with grass. There is also extensive scrub, visible in the centre. The southern edge above (right of centre) has a brackish dyke seen in 1487644 and 1487637. At the bottom right on the mainland, there are two wide borrow-dykes. |
