Summary[edit]

Description
Deutsch: Adelsheim, Marktstraße 2, Oberschloss, erbaut 1504 von Sebastian von Adelsheim und seiner Gemahlin Ursula von Hohenrechberg. Teil der Stadtbefestigung, angrenzender Torturm und Stadttor wurden 1826 abgebrochen (Oberes Tor). Unter dem Erker als Schildträger das "Wappenmännle" mit vierfach geteiltem Schild. Darauf das Steinbockshorn als Wappen der Erbauer (von Adelsheim), die springenden Löwen derer von Rechberg sowie die Wappen der Großeltern Sebastians mütterlicherseits, die roten Beile der Ritter von Stetten und das geteilte Schachbrett der Herren von Lentersheim.
