English: Preserved London buses of various eras, pictured inside the Acton depot of the London Transport Museum. Normally closed to the public, this picture was taken during an open weekend held at the depot on the 14th/15th of July, 2001. From left to right, the buses visible are an unidentified RT, FRM1 (KGY 4D), S742 (XM 7399), K424 (XC 8059), MBA582 (AML 582H), BL1 (KJD 401P), DMS1 (EGP 1J) & RF537 (NLE 537). As well as a fine collection of vintage buses, the depot also has a fine collection of trains and London Transport Signs. The depot is also the permanent store for the Museum's documents. |
