It s a sketch of hisfeet drawn by Lincoln himself so that a cobbler friend couldmake him up a pair of shoes. The foot map w*™.brLincoln in the White House December 13, 1864. The blueprint was given to E. Blumenstine. T2 South Third street, bya friend about 20 rears ago, and he is shown looking over themomenta as his part in the Lincoln Day observance. Lincoln s sketch disclosed his left foot was 12 and a halfinches long but his right foot exactly 12 inches On the rightfool at one place. Lincoln made a notation that the Widthshould be eight inches there instead of seven and a half lean-ing to the belief he had a bunion or some other foot ailment.
