Deutsch: Vorderseite: B-EIBI T-PEB ΓAΛΛOC. Panzerbüste des Trebonianus Gallus mit Strahlenkrone, Schild und schräg nach vorn gehaltenem Speer in der Brustansicht nach l.

Rückseite: ZEΦYPIC Ι-Ω-ΝΟΠΟΛΕΙΤΩΝ. Stehende nackte Figur (Zephyros?) in Frontalansicht, den Kopf nach l. gewandt, den r. Arm erhoben, über dem gesenkten l. Arm Gewand. Im l. F. das Wertzeichen H.

Kommentar: Auf Vs. und Rs. ein Zentrierpunkt. - Friedrich Imhoof-Blumer (1897) hält den auf der Rückseite Dargestellten auf Grund der Beischrift für die Personifikation des Westwindes Zephyros. Das H der Rückseite deutet er analog zur Münzprägung von Amastris als Zahlzeichen 8 (= 8 Assarien). Auf Gesuch des Alexandros von Abonuteichos wurde die Stadt kurz nach Regierungsantritt von Marcus Aurelius und Lucius Verus, spätestens in den Jahren 161-169 n. Chr., in Ionopolis umbenannt. Damit wollte Alexandros offenbar auf den 'edlen' griechischen Ursprung der Stadt hinweisen, deren mythischer Gründer Ion der Stammvater der Ionier gewesen sei.
