Summary[edit]

Description
English: Abhainn Chasla (Cashla River) This is the most significant of the rivers flowing from the western side of the blanket bog area that stretches from here almost to Galway City, between Lough Corrib and Galway Bay. Here, after a journey of some 16 kilometres and picking up various tributaries and flowing through several large loughs, it is within 500 metres of the sea, as it passes under Drogheda Chasla (Cashla Bridge) under the R336.
