Summary[edit]

Description
English: This is the Memory of Peace Monument (German: Friedensmal) in the Garden of Freedom in Bensheim near Frankfurt a. M., Germany. It's about the integration of past traumas to learn from the past the responsibility to act for peace and freedom in the present. The memorial is dedicated to our inner peace and in the outside world, to the peace in the German-Jewish relations. From here one can look into the Rhine Plane, where once was "Jerusalem on the Rhine". - This project was built in a private initiative.
