English: Abaty Cwm Hir. The remains of the abbey at Abbeycwmhir, a 12th century Cistercian abbey in North Radnorshire. There is a longstanding tradition that the body of Llywelyn ap Gruffydd (the Last) was buried at the abbey after his death near Builth in 1282; a modern slab has been placed at the east end to commemorate this. http://www.cpat.org.uk/projects/longer/abbeyc/abbeyc.htm |
