Description
English: Used trucks in poor condition, left on the site of Autoliike Pekka Mäkinen in Tampere, Finland, the former site of match factory Tampereen tulitikkutehdas. Pekka Mäkinen was known as a remarkable car and truck dealer in Finland until he was criticized because of his methods in a dealers' meeting by other Sisu dealers in 1976. After the meeting he dramatically dismissed his personnel and practically quit from the business. Auctions were later held to realize hundreds of trucks but masses of them were remaining on the site. Brands of Sisu, Volvo and Mercedes can be identified. (Information source of the description: Halmkrona, Janne 2005. Suomi: Autoliike Pekka Mäkinen Oy:n hylättyä käytettyjen kuorma-autojen varastoa Tampereella Tampereen tulitikkutehtaan entisellä alueella. Mäkisen yritys oli Suomen merkittävämpiä kuorma-autojen myyjiä, kunnes käytännössä lopetti toimintansa äkillisesti 1976 toisten myyjien kritisoitua omistajan toimintatapoja Sisu-jälleenmyyjien kokouksessa Mäntyharjulla.
