Deutsch: Der Aachener Dom, Kaiserdom, abends gesehen von Norden. Gut zu sehen ist in der Mitte der um das Jahr 800 im Auftrag Karls des Großen erbaute achteckige Teil, das Oktogon. Links im Bild ist der gotische Chor von etwa 1350, rechts der Westturm. Der Dom war Krönungsort und Pilgerstätte.
English: The cathedral in Aachen, Imperial Cathedral, viewed from north at evening. The oldest part of the church (built around the year 800 by Charlemagne) has an octagonal shape and can be seen in the middle. The gothic part on the left was built around 1350. It was a site of imperial coronations and pilgrimage for many centuries.
Français : La cathédrale d'Aix-la-Chapelle, vue du nord le soir. La partie la plus ancienne fut construite vers l'an 800 en forme octogonale. Ici on peut la voir au centre. Le chœur à la gauche date du quatorzième siècle.
Lietuvių: Katedra Achene; fotografuota vakare iš šiaurinės pusės. Seniausia bažnyčios dalis (pastatyta apie 800-uosius metus) per vidurį turi aštuoniakampį kupolą. Kairėje matoma gotikinė dalis pastatyta maždaug 1350 metais.
