Description
English: A wounded U.S. Marine is rushed through a flooded rice paddy to a waiting helicopter for evacuation to a field hospital, 18 March 1966. The action was 20 miles south of the Vietnamese Demilitarized Zone between Hue and Quang Tri as the 1st Battalion, 4th Marines engaged the Vietcong in a search-and-destroy mission.
