| Description |
English: A walk round Martin's Pond (6). The footpath round the pond is far more enclosed as it follows the marshy northern edge. On the right Natural Succession is demonstrated by the colonisation of the silted up marshy northern area of the Pond by willow scrub. Note the mature pollarded willow on the left. The bed of lesser red-mace in the previous image can be seen straight ahead.
