| Description |
English: A walk round Martin's Pond (5). In the north east corner of the nature reserve lesser reed-mace has colonised the water's edge. This is an extremely rare plant in the city and surroundings and is thriving in this sheltered environment. In this view looking south the wooded island is on the left. Note the fishing platform amongst the reeds.
