A very worn silver coin of Elizabeth I of uncertain date, possibly a sixpence.
Description
English: A complete but very worn coin of Elizabeth I of uncertain date.  There is no visible date above the shield on the reverse but the size suggests it is probably a sixpence. The obverse is very damaged and worn.  Only some of the legend is legible [ELIZABE]TH D[…]REGI[NA].  The reverse has a squared shield on a long cross fourchée with only part of the original legend legible [POSVI DEV AD]VITOR [E] MEVM.

Diameter: 24.6 mm; Weight: 2.5g
