D Plate 73.—This diagram teaches the exact findings of the fluorometer when used astaught in the preceding plates and text. METHODS OF LOCALIZATION 229 that wlien tlie final observation is taken bj means of the fluoroscopea light line intersecting the two sights and the centre of the bulletobserved will be exactly parallel with the base of the instrument ineach observation. Hence, by glancing at diagram C, it will be seenthat the line AB secured by the first observation will intersect the lineCD secured by the second observation at the centre of the bullet, thus unerringly indicating the position of the bullet on the cross-sec-tion of the wrist as shown by the markings on the surface. It will also be seen that, after the proper position has oncebeen obtained, its undistorted record may be preserved by placing asensitive plate in the upright plate and screen-holder. Medico-legalexperts will thus be enabled to procure an undistorted radiographicview of any portion of the human anatomy,
