n fact all the machinery andappliances required in carrying on the various industries described, willbe manufactured in the foundries and machine shops at Sault Ste. Marie.The Dominion Government have already made a contract with them for25,000 tons of nickel-steel rails for the Intercolonial Railway. Another enterprise in which the capitalists associated with Mr. Clergueare engaged, is the building of a railway running directly north from SaultSte. Marie through the unbroken forest to the shores of Hudson Bay. Some miles of this road have already been built, and three yearsRailway to from now, travellers will be carried by Pullman car, through aBay1 *anc* tnat *s now maccessmle, to the shores of the Arctic sea. This railway is known as the Algoma Central and Hudson BayRailroad. It is proposed to make it- a thoroughly up to date and wellequipped line in all respects.
