Title
A single view of a vessel base. Medieval to Post Medieval.
Description
English: The sherd is an abraded base sherd of an oxidised ware. The base is 114mm in diameter on the exterior. The underside has ripples produced from the wire to remove the vessel from the wheel. The wall of the vessel is missing completely. The fabric is hard, is a mid brown/orange throughout. The inclusions are medium to large, occasional and are red and hard. It probably dates to the Medieval to Post Medieval period.

The sherd weighs 217g.
