Title
A single view of a probable Neolithic blade.
Description
English: The object is possibly a blade, but then has been re-used as re-touch occurs along one edge. The blade has been knapped from flint. The blade probably dates to the Neolithic period, -4000 to –2500.

In section the blade has a triangular section. The blade is incomplete as there is a break, but this break is not recent as the blue/grey coloured patina which is on the suface ofthe blade also covers the break. One long edge has small re-touch scars which have removed the patina, suggesting the blade has been re-used at a later date. On the reverse the bulb of percussion is situated at the apparent tip of the blade. The flint is a mid brown colour beneath the patina.

The blade measures 29.86mm long, 15.03mm wide and 4.61mm thick. It weighs 2.2g.
