English: A silver Roman radiate of Philip I (AD 244-249), dating to the period c.AD 247 (Reece period 12).

Obverse: IMP PHILIPPVS AVG, Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust right. Reverse: VIRTVS AVGG, Philip I and II on horses galloping right, each raising right hand, ε in exergue.

Mint of Rome. As RIC IV.3, p. 69, no. 10.
