Description |
English: A scene showing the new Visitor Center being constructed at Gettysburg National Military Park and scheduled for opening late in 1961. The modernistic structure will house the huge Cyclorama painting depicting General Pickett's charge by Paul Philippoteaux. (Mission 66). There will also be a series of exhibits relating the story of Gettysburg, the fierce battle and subsequent address by President Abraham Lincoln, in the museum.
