Storm signals are shown from the office of the captain of the portand from 3 masts just seaward of the fortress of Santiago near the mouth of PdsigRiver. Manila, W. mole, 1 fixed light, red. Tower 6 ft. high, visible 2J (stat.) m. Ironpedestal. This light is near the end of the breakwater now under constructionand is moved out as the work progresses. Manila, on battery side of quay, mouth of Psisig River, lat. 14° 36^ 2\ N., Ion.120° hi \% E. Two fixed lights, electric, horizontal, 3 ft. apart; 16 ft. abovethe sea, visible 6 (stat.) m. A red light is shown from a beacon at the head ofPasig River to mark the entrance from Laguna de Bay to the river. St. Nicholas Bank, on the NW. head of the NW. of the 2 shoals forming thosebanks in Manila Bay, lat. 14° 26^ 2h N., Ion. 120° 45^ \h E. One flash lightevery minute, flashes 20 seconds, eclipse 40 seconds, electric; 34 ft. above thesea; height of tower 36 ft., visible 5 (stat.) m.
