A plan and profile of a mortaria sherd.
Description
English: Rim sherd from an Oxfordshire White ware mortarium. The rim has a '<' shaped profile with a beaded edge and flange. The fabric is quite hard. It is cream/yellow throughout. The exterior surface of the upper bead of the rim has a worn black patch which maybe painted decoration.

The grits are rounded pink and white quartz.
