A man is dancing during "La toma de plaza" in Tabacundo, Ecuador. This celebration is part of the famous Inti Raymi festivities that celebrate the Sun in indigeneous Andean cultures, Latin America.

Description
Français : Cet homme vient symboliser une évolution historique du folklore lors de cette festivité. Il raconte qu'auparavant "la toma de plaza" était effectuée par les hommes musiciens, qui étaient les seuls à pouvoir déambuler. C'est par l'initiative de quelques hommes qui ont porté des vêtements traditionnels de femme que la culture festive a évolué, pour finalement autoriser les femmes à danser au devant des hommes musiciens.
English: This man continues to commemorate a historical evolution in "La toma de plaza" folklore. Through his dance, he explains that initially only the men where allowed to walk, playing music. That is only after some men initiative, dressing themselves in traditionnal women clothing during the walk, that women where authorised to dance and walk in front of the men musicians.
Español: Este hombre conmemora una evolucion historica del folcloro de "la toma de plaza". A traves de su vestido y su baile, el explica que al principio eran solo los hombres musicos que podian participar y caminar. Fue por iniciativa de algunos hombres, que se pusieron vestidos tradicionales de mujer y bailaron, que se permitio despues a las mujeres de bailar delante de los musicos.
