Horse standing alone in the White Desert National Park, Farafra in Egypt

==Summary==

Description
English: These sculptural formations are best viewed at sunrise or sunset when the sun lights them with orangey-pink hues, or under a full moon, which gives the landscape a ghostly Arctic appearance. Wind erosion is the most significant factor in shaping the rocks in the White Desert. Strong winds can carry sand and other particles that can erode the rocks over time, creating the unique formations that we see today. Rainfall can also contribute to the erosion of the rocks, but due to the arid climate of the region, the amount of rainfall is insufficient to cause significant erosion.
