Description
English: Fleuron from book:
A journal of a voyage to the South Seas, in his Majesty's ship the Endeavour: faithfully transcribed from the papers of the late Sydney Parkinson, Draughtsman to Sir Joseph Banks, Bart. in his Expedition with Dr. Solander round the World; and embellished with twenty-nine views and designs, engraved by Capital Artists. To which is now added, remarks on the preface, by the late John Fothergill, M. D. F. R. S. &c. And an appendix, Containing an Account of the Voyages of Commodore Byron, Captain Wallis, Captain Carteret, Monsieur Bougainville, Captain Cook, and Captain Clerke.
