Extirpation of cancerous Breasts. 17 Difcharge, the Dreffing may be repeated the oftner, and made with dry Luitonly, which has been moiftened with a little Tinfture of Myrrh and Amber,inftead of digeftive Ointments, which will leflen the Difcharge that generallyweakens the Patient. ^ In the mean Time, the Patient is to be fupported notonly with good and eafy Nourifliment, as Broths, Gellies, Cuftard, fc?c. butalfo with mild Cordials and pleafant Emulfions. On the contrary, the Surgeonfliould be equally folicitous to avoid too great Drynefs, as difcharge of the Parts,which has been by fome Authors obferved as a Mark that the Diforder willreturn : In this Cafe, it may be therefore proper to apply Mel Rofarum to pro-mote a good Digeftion of the Parts.
