English: A further view of Site 1 at the former RAF Bodorgan. RAF Bodorgan had no control tower. ATC operations were conducted from the front room of a bungalow next to Site 1. There was one fatal accident at RAF Bodorgan, when a Supermarine Spitfire from RAF Valley and a target towing Lysander from Bodorgan collided in January, 1942. Both pilots lost their lives.
