The meeting was duly held on the evening of December 2Sth,when suitable resolutions in memory of this distinguished clergy-man were passed. (Folio 120.) Dr. Bayard was the Second Vice President of the Society,and Rector of St. Clements Church, New York. He died atsea on the passage from Beyrout to Malta.
